OLED Future Display Device

Smart TV (LCD or LED) a very common word we listen many times in our daily life but now world is moving towards the OLED TVs. Let’s see what OLED TV is and how it differs from LED and LCD.

Understanding the OLED
LG OLED TV
OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes), OLED is made by inserting the many thin organic layer in between to organic conductors, in which one conductor must be transparent. OLED is work when electric energy is applied in response to electric current bright light is produced and then this bright light is use for making the digital display.
OLED are much thinner and lighter than the Liquid Crystal Displayed (LCD) because OLED do not required any back light.

As compare to the LCD and LED TVs the OLEDs are thin and lighter they are also flexible and can also be transparent. OLEDs are can also be placed on non-flat surfaces
Cost is one major disadvantage of OLED they are very costly this may be because it is not common in market once they are common the price will defiantly will come down; life time is another problem with the OLED.

Devices
Samsung’s OLED TV KN55S9C and LG’s OLED TV 55EA9800 also Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note3, these phones are using OLEDs similarly Lenovo’s S-800 phone is the device with the OLED display.

Here is the example video of OLED prototype
